Favorite Yet Easy Exercises

Hellllllo!! The Soul Good Exercise Challenge is going well. I have definitely had to make some adjustments to when I do the workouts. Either wake up earlier and do them or stay up late and do them. I have even done a few in my office. Hey, get it in when you can but do them, right?!?

I just wanted to share some of my favorite exercises that I do. I like them because they are easy to do with my previous injuries from being an athlete in my younger days. Also, from a really bad car wreck that messed up my left shoulder and rotator cup.

Try these and even add in few of these on the days they are not on the calendar to do.

After having my daughter on September 22, 2018 by emergency c-section, I dropped my weight pretty well. Not being able to do much and breastfeeding worked to my advantage. Then I went back to work and gradually I noticed my clothes not fitting. It wasn’t a great feeling having to do what seemed like gymnastics just to put on or pull up my pants.

This challenge to get back to where I feel good about myself - mentally, physically, and emotionally. I miss going to my Zumba classes and the feeling I get during and after working out, followed by sitting in the sauna. The goal is to make my soul happy again by doing what makes feel good inside and not what others think I should look like, weigh, or how many pounds I should use.

A self care, soul training challenge is what i call it because we will exercise and train but we will also do self care because stressing or depression can also cause weight gain as well. It won’t be easy and it may not happen fast, but the goal is to get to a place where I like how I feel, look, and function.

On my workout journey, no matter how consistent I am 😉😂, one thing's for sure... if my workout clothes are not comfortable, it makes the workout WORSE! For me, it was the second main excuse to not workout. (#1 being, I just don't like it.)
